Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L4)
History: Purchased by Geologist Juan Avils Poblador in Fall 2020 from a meteorite dealer in Mauritania.
Physical characteristics: Single stone with dark-brown fusion crust.
Petrography: (D. Sheikh, Cascadia) This sample is an ordinary chondrite containing chondrules (Av. 750±100 μm, n=14) and accessory Fe-Ni metal and troilite.
Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa23.4±0.9, range Fa22.4-24.1, n=6), Low-Ca Pyroxene (Fs19.8±0.4Wo1.7±0.3, range Fs19.2-20.4Wo1.1-2.0, n=10).
Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L4).
Specimens: 20.1 g and a thin section at Cascadia; main mass with Juan Avils Poblador.
