現在のメンバーはギタリストでリーダーのUri Brauner Kinrot、チューバ奏者のYuval “Tuby” Zolotov、女性キーボード奏者のDani Ever-Hadani、2014年秋に新加入したドラマーのIra Ravivの四人。
ザ・ベンチャーズ直系のサーフィン・ギターとベースの代わりにチューバ、さらにドラムス＆キーボードという編成で中東ベリーダンス音楽からエキゾティックなギリシャ歌謡、マカロニ・ウエスタン、バルカンのジプシーブラス、どこか日本の昭和歌謡にも通じる～懐かしいイスラエル歌謡まで取り上げる。
2006年にバルカンビーツのDJ Shantelのレーベルからファースト・アルバムをリリース。WMCE（ワールドミュージック・チャート・ヨーロッパ）のベスト10入りを果たす。その後、現在までに四枚のアルバムをリリースし、ヨーロッパ、アメリカ、カナダ、メキシコ、南アフリカなど全世界でライブを行ってきた。
日本には2012年秋に初上陸。2014年に二度目の来日を果たし、イスラエルのバンドとして『FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’14』に初登場。東京、大阪、横浜でも公演を行い、多くの音楽ファンを唸らせた。3RDアルバム『ALAKAZAM』、4THアルバム『MANARA & SUMMER SINGLES』に続き、2015年7月には日本編集のベスト盤『The Very Best Of Boom Pam』と小島麻由美とのコラボアルバム『with Boom Pam』を同日リリース。

The current members are guitarist and leader Uri Brauner Kinrot, tuba player Yuval “Tuby” Zolotov, female keyboard player Dani Ever-Hadani, and drummer Ira Raviv, a new drummer who joined the band in the fall of 2014.
